Reliant Regal missed!!

Hello,
I'm searching for my Reliant Regal. It was standing at a car park next to Mc Donalds at the A1 at Deventer. I had a breakdown and I left the car there. When I came back 3 months later it was away. I thought first it was towed away because it was standing there so long, but the police knew nothing and the companies who tow the cars usually away didn't have the car. It is a green Regal 3/25 with a white roof. The drivers seat was not original. It was from a Robin I think. The paint was not the best. It was self-made. It had no window regulators. The windows were always closed and could not be opened. Just the triangle windows could get opened. If anybody sees this car or gets it offered please send me an email. Maybe somone thought, the car was given up by me because it was standing there so long. If you have the car please tell me. I would not be angry. I drove the car from England to Deventer. I wanted to get it to Germany to restaurate it there. It was a really hard trip that ended in the breakdown. Thank you!!

In de zomer periode heb ik inderdaad de groene reliant regal met engels kenteken zien staan op een parkeerplaats. Maar dat was in Epse dicht bij Deventer vlak bij de A1 bij afslag deventer/Epse en dan richting epse. Bij wegrestaurant de Smid aan de Deventerweg 50 7414 dh te Epse tel 0575-491593. De groene regal stond er samen met een engelse witte robin dacht ik. Ze hebben er samen 1 maand gestaan dacht ik en waren toen in eens allebij weer weg. Misschien toch wel weggesleept. tja als je je reliant 3 maanden als oud vuil laat staan dan vraag je om problemen met zo'n opvallende wagen.

Yes, I know, the car was standing there very long. I didn't want it to be there for 3 months but I had a big problem to find a trailer with at least three loading ramps. The only one I found was rented for months so I had to wait. But now my baby was stolen. I hope it will turn up again because if it doesn't I have to report it stolen and I think the guy who took it didn't want to get a criminal. I'm quite sure he thought the car was crap and given up by the owner. I guess it would be difficult to get a license for such an eye-catching car that was reported stolen at the authorities. So please, dear Mr. who took it, bring it back. I won't be angry :)

It's a bit of a crazy story I must admit that, after 3 months you ask were it is and your excuse is that the only trailer you could find with 3 ramps was rented out, just rent a trailer and with 4 people you can just pick it up from the ground and put it on a trailer or buy some scrap wood and make an extra ramp or even ask someone if he can lend you a ramp or something.
If it is for 3 months on a private parkingspace (and parkingspaces near restaurants usualy are) they are towed away, immagine a rare old drity busted reliant standing there well that stands out from any car so is sure to be noticed, so probebly someone called the dmv and told them someone put a scrap car in their parking lot and it went to the schredder, if you can not remember were you put it, someone saw a reliant looking like that 14 days ago in a different place, don't blame us or the dutch that you left your car behind. ... link

I don't blame the dutch!! I never said that!!!! And the car wasn't towed away. I phoned already all towing-companies, the police,the community. It has not been towed away. The last time it has been seen was at the 15.12. That is not long ago. Maybe I was really waiting too long but its no reason to steal the car.

new year
Oke allemaal het nieuwe jaar is begonnen en ik wil best even een paar bedrijven opbellen waar de Regal van Mr robin lover is gebleven O.a wolves wierden Wielsma Deventer Apeldoorn evt rijkswaterstaat.
Als de Regal echt daadwerkelijk er zolang heeft gestaan moet ie toch ergens te vinden zijn.Of tenminste moeten er mensen die iets of wat weten erover. Ik wil me er dus voor inspannen en hoop dat er meer zo denken als mij. Oke de auto heeft er misschien iets te lang gestaan maar dan heeft niemand nog het recht om een andersman eigendom zomaar mee te nemen. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!! ... link

Mr Robin Lover Have you report your reliant as stolen?
I have contact the police, and the police does not now were you car is. Your car is not towed away by the police, and there is nothing about it in their computer system. The Police told me THat de Owner must repord the car as stolen, perhaps the police can than make an case of it. ... link

An an update: I had a mail from the owner: he will be picking it up very soon. @Dan - Why is has returned? I do not know. All I know is the name calling discussion on a Dutch Reliant board where an agressive guy used a lot of words I won't repeat here. This morron also hinted to the fact he took it. Other readers told him he did not have the right - it was plain theft. Even threatening to inform the police. maar ik begrijp dat ie terecht is wat is er zoals aan vernaggeld dan? En waar is ie gevonden dan?
ik neem aan dat ze de thief ook hebben gevonden. Kan je misschien de schade daar ook op verhalen. Is natuurlijk mooi klote dat ze je auto zo meenemen en dan in een beroerde staat achterlaten. succes met het opknappen dan maar ... link

het blijkt dat ze hem teruggezet hebben op dezelfde parkeerplaats maar op een andere plek en behoorlijk gevandaliseerd hebben, blijkbaar was de dief pissig dat hij hem niet mocht jatten en kreeg hij het te heet onder zijn voeten.
Ik hoop dat ze de dief te pakken krijgen en hem de rekening voor een volledige restauratie presenteren ... link

Aangifte diefstal
Ik heb zojuist navraag gedaan en iedereen kan aangifte doen van diefstal/vernieling. Zelfs al het niet je eigen bezit is. Hierbij werp ik mij op als vrijwilliger om meneer Aad (svp naw-gegevens) aan te geven bij de politie en wil iedereen hier vragen om eventueel bewijs aan mij af te geven. De politie kon me alleen nog niet vertellen of de aanklacht diefstal dan wel vernieling zal worden.

Laten we de discussie hier verder laten voor wat het is. Nog weer beledigingen over en weer heeft geen enkele zin. De radertjes lopen en we zien verder wel hoe dit afloopt.
